Dr. Neeraja C. MattayDr. Mattay’s practice of excellence began early. She graduated as valedictorian of her high school class from Marshall High School in Falls Church, Virginia. From here, she graduated first in her class after completing undergraduate studies at Georgetown University. Dr. Mattay attended the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, where she was voted into the esteemed medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. Her medical career advanced upon completion of her educational studies with a year of internal medicine training and three years in a dermatology residency, both completed at the Medical College of Virginia. Here, she was also recognized for her commitment, receiving the Dermatology Department’s Award for Excellence in Academics and Teaching. Dr. Mattay is currently on staff at the George Washington University Medical Center, and has been named a Top Doctor by the Washingtonian. She has also been named as a “US News Top Doctor” and a “Northern Virginia Top Doctor.”
Dr. Nickolai TalaninDr. Nickolai Talanin came to the US from Russia after graduating with honor from Tashkent State Medical Institute. After arriving in 1992, he held the position of Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Ohio. His dermatology residency was completed at the University of Tennessee, after which he pursued clinical research in a fellowship position at the National Cancer Institute’s Dermatology Branch. More than forty of Dr. Talanin’s articles, covering skin care and various skin diseases, have been published in leading professional journals. He remains especially interested in dermatologic surgery.
Dr. Anjali ChandelaDr. Anjali Chandela earned her degree in Molecular Biology from the esteemed Princeton University, from which she graduated with honors. She earned both an MD and PhD degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis before completing a dermatology residency at Cornell Medical College (in affiliation with NY Presbyterian Hospital) in New York. From 2006 to 2010, Dr. Chandela served as Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Cornell Medical School. A member of the American Academy of Dermatology, she is especially interested in cosmetic dermatology, women’s dermatologic issues, psoriasis, eczema, acne, skin cancer, and rosacea.
Dr. Asmaa ChaudhryDr. Asmaa Chaudhry is a Georgia native who earned her Bachelor of Science degree and graduated with highest honors from Georgia State University. She received her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Georgia before moving to Virginia to complete an Internal Medicine internship at Virginia Commonwealth University. Her residency was completed at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Along with her husband and three children, Dr. Chaudhry has enjoyed living in Virginia since 2012. She enjoys the various aspects of pediatric, medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology, and has a special interest in education. Her academic excellence has been recognized on several occasions, and she has had numerous articles published in reputable dermatologic journals. In addition to receiving recognition for research projects, Dr. Chaudhry has also presented on skin care and dermatological conditions at medical conferences. Dr. Chaudhry is fluent in Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi.
Dr. Brendan CampDr. Brendan Camp graduated with honors from Cornell University with a degree in biochemistry. As a medical student at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse he participated in a one-year epidemiology fellowship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). He finished his internship in internal medicine at the University of Chicago. Dr. Camp completed his residency training in dermatology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in dermatopathology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He was previously Assistant Professor of Dermatology at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. A fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Camp's interests include medical and surgical dermatology.
Song Jin Kim, PA-C.Our certified Physician Assistant, Song Jin Kim, graduated from Yale University School of Medicine with a Master of Medical Science degree after graduating Magna Cum Laude from George Washington University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. Her Bachelor program included a major in Biological Sciences and double minors in Psychology and Exercise Science. Song Jin holds memberships with the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants (VAPA) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
Michelle Burton, PA-C.Michelle earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition with a specialization in Dietetics from the University of Florida. She was recognized with highest distinction through the UF Anderson Scholars Award and graduated with cum laude honors. Following her undergraduate achievements, she gained dermatology experience working as a medical assistant alongside a Mohs surgeon in a general, surgical, and cosmetic practice. She then moved to Virginia to receive her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from James Madison University. Her passions encompass general and cosmetic dermatology. When she isn't immersed in the world of skin, she is an avid outdoorswoman and seeks out any opportunity for a travel adventure.
Lauren Kellmel, Licensed Esthetician, Certified Laser TechnicianLauren received her esthetic training and is a graduate of The Esthetic Institute in Vienna, VA. With ten years of experience in the medical field as a medical assistant, Lauren has a way to make our patients feel comfortable and informed. She has extensive knowledge and education regarding lasers, especially laser hair removal.
With ample training in Coolsculpting, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, facials and medical grade skin care products, Lauren enjoys evaluating skin types and finding individually designed treatments that give her patients optimal results that fit their individual needs.
