Microdermabrasion
A superficial removal of skin cells with a diamond coated hand piece connected to deep suction. Improves texture and tone of skin, and allows better penetration of active ingredients in topical medications. Immediately your skin feels smoother and glows, and remember, physician level microdermabrasion goes deepest, giving you results fast! For more information, visit: www.diamondtome.com

Light Peels
A brief application of a peeling solution (salicylic acid, glycolic acid, and/or retinoic acid) to face, neck, hands or arms results in removal of a thin layer of skin, revealing smoother more evenly colored skin underneath, and temporarily improves the size of pores. These “lunchtime peels” are often alternated every one or two weeks with microdermabrasion (for a total of about six treatments) for even better results. For more information, visit: www.skinmedica.com

Medium depth Chemical Peels
By applying a thin layer of trichloroacetic acid (TCA) to the face (even around the eyes) hands or arms, the entire top layer of skin is peeled. Once the skin finishes peeling (after 5-7 days) the new skin underneath is pink, even and smooth, and fine lines are diminished. For Lines and Folds

Botox
Injections into superficial facial muscles to relax them. Very dramatic noninvasive treatment for forehead and frown lines as well as “crow’s feet”. The effect is often proportional to the number of units of Botox used. Since we charge by the unit, and everyone’s face is different, we’ll only give you what you need, based on your unique pattern of facial movements. For more information, visit: www.botox.com # Collagen [+-] Injections directly into fine lines give immediate results in lips, lip lines, superficial laugh lines and small scars. Same as human collagen (unlike products used years ago).

Restylane and Perlane
Slightly deeper injections into fine lines, laugh lines and folds. Great for contouring the face and jowl area. Dramatically improves fullness of lips and fills in deeper acne scars. For more information, visit: www.restylaneusa.com

Radiesse
Deeper injections into facial folds. Excellent long-lasting filler, especially when more superficial fillers are not sufficient. For more information, visit: www.radiesse.com For Unwanted Spots of All Kinds.

Laser treatment of blood vessels
Our new lasers are the best treatment for dilated facial vessels (often cleared in one treatment) and overall redness of the face neck and chest (usually requires multiple treatments). No downtime and no anesthesia required! (Certain leg veins respond as well, but check with the doctor if this is the best choice.) For more information, visit: www.iridex.com or www.candelalaser.com

Sclerotherapy of Leg Veins
Injection of a concentrated salt solution, mixed with an anesthetic to minimize the sting, into spider veins of the leg. Usually multiple treatments are required, as gravity works against us in the leg—but the results are better than any other treatment available!

Removal of dark spots
Depends on the layers of the skin that have darkened. Some spots are best treated with cryotherapy (simple freezing), while others should be lasered. More extensive pigment is treated with aggressive use of fading creams and possibly chemical peels.

Removal of benign growths
Skin tags can be sterilely removed with minimal local anesthesia, in common areas such as around eyes, underarms, and in the groin. Benign warty type growths called keratoses can be frozen off. Many other types of growths such as small cysts of the face called milia and enlarged oil glands of the face are also routinely removed. Certain types of benign small dark growths on the face, often mistaken for moles, may be removed with a laser. Lasers and Lights For Everything

Photofacials
A catchy phrase for the use of laser or concentrated light energy in small doses to improve skin texture by building up your own collagen, and to remove redness and pigment. Multiple treatments are required for best results, but there’s no downtime and neck, arms, hands as well as face can be treated. For more information, visit: www.palomarmedical.com

Photodynamic therapy
Application of a light sensitizing solution to the face (or sometimes back and chest) for about an hour, followed by laser or concentrated light exposure, resulting in shrinkage of pores, marked reduction of acne, and improvement in overall skin texture. Removes sun-damaged and precancerous spots as well. Usually 2-4 treatments for best results.

Blue light therapy
Exposure to a specific wavelength of visible blue light is completely safe and effective in treating mild acne. Great for those who want to avoid medications and treat acne with natural remedies. For more information, visit: www.phototherapeutics.com

Laser Hair removal
The best procedure for razor bumps, hair follicle infections, and of course getting rid of unwanted hair. Ask us which laser is best for your skin and hair type. For more information, visit: www.cutera.com

Fractionated Laser treatments
A new technology is now available to smooth and tighten skin with little to no downtime. This special treatment heats the deeper part of the skin without harming the top layers resulting in significant reduction of wrinkles and scarring! For more information, visit: www.palomarmedical.com
